Congratulations to Gunn Johansen, the new owner of DunDarling Glinda!

We are very excited to announce that Glinda (RT Gandalf x Råds Luna), a two year old grey filly, is headed back to the mid-west where she will be reunited with her full sister, Sere. Gunn plans to use the girls for a driving pair—they should be really something to see in the future!

Congratulations to Megan McFarland on her purchase of OFI Morgens Minne!

We are pleased to announce that Morgens Minne (which means Morgen’s Memory, called Mimi for short), the last filly by Anvil’s Morgen (out of LHF Jasmine), has a wonderful new home in Oregon! We wish Megan good luck and fun times raising this beautiful and spunky little girl!

Isn’t technology great? The demand for video on sales horses and breeding stallions has escalated to the point where we (major fans of still photography) have been finally dragged into the video age. Our web-site is now host to youtube video players and we have our own channel, “Olivia Farm”. We hope you enjoy this new opportunity to see our horses in action!

Congratulations to Carmela Lacayo on her purchase of OFI Tresko!

We are super excited to be sending our beautiful boy—our first Tico foal by our wonderful OH Sadie— down to a new home in Los Angeles! Tresko has completed his “basic training” with Brianne Stromberg this winter and is all ready to go for his new owner. Thanks to Brianne for a wonderful training job and we wish Carmela and Tresko all the best in the coming years!

Olivia Farm featured in latest issue of Fjordhesten!

Karine Kristiansen from Norway visited with us this summer for an intense, if short, “working vacation” centered around Fjords. We rode every broke horse on the place, started some in driving and draft, and attended the Libby Show. Karine submitted an article for Fjordhesten about her time with us and the work and training that we accomplished. She especially liked training for driven tandem and included some great photos from the training sessions and our “final product”. Thanks to Karine for great memories of a fun summer!
