OFI Kjekk, yearling gelding (Anvil’s Morgen x Peppertree’s Bininka by BDF Kanada King) |
Kjekk (the “kj” combination is pronounced “sh”, Norwegian for handsome) is a very cute colt with good conformation and movement. His sire and dam are very talented horses, and his entire pedigree is full of great riding and driving horses—Kjekk should follow suit and be well suited to any discipline. He is a quick learner and very people oriented. He leads, ties, clips, trailers, etc. His full brother (coming three) has been started under saddle this summer and is meeting every challenge and excelling in every area. We are sure that Kjekk will be the same and that he would be a good project horse for someone looking to raise and train their own youngster.

Butternut Farm’s Caesar, yearling colt (Prydarson x Katrinedals Vanessa by Golf Gudenå) |
Caesar is a very fancy colt of outstanding quality. The more this colt matures, the more impressed we become with him. He is the son of the highest evaluated stallion in the NFHR, who is a Norwegian import and has Gold Medallions in riding, driving, and draft. Caesar’s dam is a Danish import with a blue ribbon in conformation and movement (82 at three years of age). Both parents have excellent movement scores, and Caesar is turning into a fabulous mover—he is naturally suited for ridden or driven dressage, but could easily do draft, western, or any discipline. Caesar is easy to work with, curious, smart, and easy going. He has had lots of ground work, ties, leads well, and has been taken for walks out on the trails. He loves to get out, is the first colt to meet you at the gate, and is a joy to work with—friendly without being pushy. We plan to exhibit Caesar at Libby this year and get NFHR young stock scores at that time. For Caesar’s full pedigree, click here. His price is $6,000. |

Cornerstone’s Anya, yearling filly (Anvil’s Morgen x GP 23 Sonya by Karibu) |
Anya is a very nice filly by our former herd stallion, Anvil’s Morgen. Like all Morgen offspring she has good quality legs, a pretty head, and a solid temperament. She has been well handled as a youngster and is a very sweet girl. Considering her pedigree, she should be of a nice size (over 14 hands) and be comfortable under saddle and in harness.
We will get photos and a pedigree link on the web-site soon. Please contact us for more information. Anya’s price is $3,500. |
